We agree on what "done" means (interfaces, performance, environment, certifications) before we design. Scope stays clear and estimates mean something.

Standard tools, version control, and handover notes. No black boxes. At any point you can take the design to another team or a manufacturer.

Claims are backed by measurements on the bench, not by assumptions. Test setups are part of the deliverable.
